The purpose of this site is to raise awareness of what is going on at Meadow Creek for all of us owners. The "Guardian" will supply a place for news, activities and information that may be pertinent about where we live. Any news regarding the management of, and the running of the Association and its compliances with the Bylaws and Minnesota State Statues, will be fairly reported. This site may also contain factual reporting of information and activities of the Board (like Board meetings, expenditures, and Board Minutes), but will be missing my eccentric (and some might say, sarcastic) sense of humor. This must be so as it has been ordered by the Hennepin County District Court that anything other than that could be construed as harassing to the Board and its members. This site will also provide general information regarding the relationship between Property Management Companies and the Association Boards that hire them.

Dave Stendal was the property manager at Meadow Creek from May 2010 to November 2012. During that time there were many contentious discussions and issues between his management company - Omega Management - and a group of owners that did not see eye to eye on how he managed and conducted business for us at Meadow Creek. No references on this website were (or are) planned to mention representatives of the association, Board members or prior managment. Therefore, it seems strange that his attorney is so strongly insisting we post a statement to various remarks previously made. Remarks that there was no intention to bring up about issues over 2 years old. But, to keep the attorney happy, and in accordance with the terms of a settlement agreement, I agree to not post any remarks previously posted on other sites and to not mention him further by name or innuendo (which we weren't going to do anyway). Since the statement was drawn up prior to this website, it should be noted that although it makes reference to some comments that were "made on this and other sites" in fact those comments were made only on "other sites." NO comments have been made on this site. This will remain posted until May 31, 2014.
Therefore, the following statement is attached --
"During the time that Omega Management and Dave Stendal were engaged as the property manager for Westbrooke Condominium Association, negative comments were made on this and related websites about them regarding the management of the property. The comments were expressions of my opinions regarding the situations and events occurring in our Association at the time. It is unfortunate that Omega Management, Dave Stendal and I were involved in various disputes between the owners and the Board of Westbrooke Condominiums, and I regret that Omega and Dave Stendal were unjustly victimized in the cross fire. Those comments have now been deleted from the websites as part of a mutual settlement agreement."
